New Shots: Battleship: Surface Thunder

Hasbro Interactive has sent over a few new shots of its next Battleship game, Battleship: Surface Thunder. Unlike the previous game, Surface Thunder takes an arcadelike approach with an action mode that spans 20 different campaigns, each of which emphasizes the use of different tactics. For those who enjoy the classic version of Battleship, the game includes a classic-game mode, in which you can place your fleet of ships on three different grid variations. The classic game mode also supports multiplayer play over LAN and the Internet.

Battleship: Surface Thunder is due out in September.
