New Shadow Man Movies

Acclaim's voodoo-inspired first-person shooter shows off in latest set of movies.

Comments

Shadow Man is Acclaim's voodoo-themed first-person shooter. Taking inspiration from creepy movies like Jacob's Ladder and Angel Heart, as well as from The Bell Jar author, Sylvia Plath, the developers have worked hard to give the game an eerie, underworld, voodoo feel.

The story is set in New Orleans, and you - Mike LeRoi - are an assassin. You're killed in a car wreck, resurrected by a voodoo priestess, and charged with the task of stopping the Apocalypse. To aid you, you have a weapon in each of your hands - and you can shoot with both or climb a rope with one while shooting with the other.

Acclaim recently released these movies of the game (due out in August for the PC, PS and N64), so if you want to check out the gameplay in full Technicolor, click on the link to the right.
