New screens: Project Eden

Eidos Interactive has released a new group of screenshots from its upcoming futuristic action game, Project Eden. The new screens depict several battle scenes, and they display some of the game's weapon effects and the mutant creatures that players will come up against in the game. In the game, players command a squad of Urban Protection Agency soldiers in a huge futuristic metropolis on an assignment to exterminate the dangerous creatures that are roaming the city. Project Eden's interface lets players switch control between the different characters in the squad at any point in the mission.

Project Eden is in development at Core Design, the studio that created the original Tomb Raider, and it is scheduled for release later this year. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
