New screens: Project Eden

Eidos releases new images from the action game being developed by the creators of Tomb Raider.

Eidos sent out some new screenshots from Project Eden, which is currently in development at Core--the same studio responsible for creating the Tomb Raider series. However, Project Eden takes a different approach to the action genre: It has four members of a team that have specialized abilities for solving puzzles. For example, the engineer of the group is responsible for fixing doors or any other mechanical objects, while the hacker of the group can operate any computer system in the area. There's quite a large amount of action in the game, with groups of thugs hiding around corners waiting to pounce on any intruders, searching through the slums of a futuristic city.

Project Eden is currently scheduled for an August release. For more information on the game, take a look at our previous coverage .
