New screens: Madden 2002

Electronic Arts has released new screenshots of Madden 2002, one of the many games shown at an EA press event. The new shots show what kinds of details have been added to the player models as well as background objects such as the stadium, and the sidelines. There also some new special effects like real-time lighting and a time cycle, where the sky changes as the game is played. Madden 2002 for the PC also includes a create-a-team feature in which players can create their own teams complete with unique logos and uniforms.

Madden 2002 is scheduled for release this summer.
