Lonely Cat Games has released six new screenshots from Atlantica, its upcoming 3D shooter. The game takes place around 3000 BC, and it is based on a war between the Incas and the Atlanteans. While the empire of Atlantis is more technologically advanced, the Incas have a larger population. An alien ship lands and disrupts the precarious balance by trading advanced technology for raw materials with the Incas. Players assume the role of an hero from Atlantis who must destroy the alien allies of the Incas. The game takes the player through a solar system made up of tiny planets that can be traversed in minutes. A multiplayer mode will let several players compete head-to-head for control of the tiny planets.

Atlantica is expected to be completed in 2002, but no publisher has been announced.
