New screen: Age of Mythology

Microsoft has released a new screenshot from its upcoming 3D real-time strategy game Age of Mythology. The new screenshot depicts an impressive waterfall scene with structures and units in the background. It also displays advanced effects such as translucent water, smoke, fire, and realistic vegetation.

Age of Mythology is set in an ancient world where gods, heroes, and mythological creatures take an active role in the struggle between three civilizations--the ancient Greeks, Egyptians, and Norse. The game is in development at Ensemble Studios, the company that created the popular Age of Empires real-time strategy games, and it is scheduled for release next spring.
