New Rick and Morty Game Looks Incredibly Ridiculous in First Trailer
"Is this a VR?"
A new Rick and Morty game is in development for virtual reality, Adult Swim Games announced today.
Rick and Morty Simulator: Virtual Rick-ality is in development for the HTC Vive at Owlchemy Labs, the same studio responsible for another noteworthy VR game, Job Simulator. It's difficult to describe precisely what you'll be doing based on what's shown in the first trailer. Check it out above.
The accompanying description on YouTube reads, "Thrust your hands and eyeballs into Rick's garage with Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality. Touch things! Fondle things! Make horrible mistakes with dire consequences! The future is truly here (and it is deeply unsettling)."
Co-creator and voice actor Justin Roiland tweeted about the game today, revealing a demo will be playable at San Diego Comic-Con next week. The Adult Swim Games account retweeted that message, adding, "Yes this is real," answering what feels like a pretty legitimate question about a video where the words, "Is this a VR?" are uttered.
There's not yet any word on when the game will be released.
