Meet Rainbow Six Siege's latest operator from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Ahead of Rainbow Six Siege's Crimson Heist reveal on February 21, Ubisoft has pulled back the curtain on Flores, the tactical shooter's upcoming operator tied to the new season.

Ubisoft published a blog post that revealed the new operator. In the post, Gridlock gives an update to Rainbow head Dr. Harishva "Harry" Pandey on how Santiago "Flores" Lucero is doing. Gridlock tells Harry that Flores is "excited about the resources" their team has access to. She also mentions that because he's "always made his own tools and weapons," he has a "different perspective" than the Defender Mira. He comes from Buenos Aires, though Gridlock notes he "doesn't talk much about growing up" there except for the times he stole from crime lords in Argentina and in Los Angeles. Ubisoft makes it clear that Flores is a master thief.

Now Playing: Rainbow Six's New Operator Has An Explosive Drone

The post, in short, is a brief introduction to Flores as a character, providing bits about his background and snippets of his loadout. Though nothing specific is mentioned in the blog post, the above teaser video reveals that Flores is an attacker who specializes in technology, something reflected in his backstory. Even Gridlock mentions a "shiny little explosive invention" Flores keeps in his kit, likely the small companion bot he drops in the teaser video.

Ubisoft will reveal Flores in full on Sunday, February 21 at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET. The livestream will also include the unveiling of Crimson Heist and the next year of Rainbow Six Siege.
