Strategy First has released a playable demo for its upcoming real-time strategy game Rails Across America. The 31MB demo includes most of the game's features, including eight of the 36 different engines, as well as multiplayer support for up to four players.

Rails Across America will let players assume the role of a railroad baron during the 1870s. They must manage a fleet of engines, oversee the expansion of their empire, and decide when to raise and lower prices. In addition, players can initiate stock raids, investigations, and sabotage in order to best their opponents.

For more information, download the demo from the link below and take a look at our previous coverage of the game. Rails Across America is in development at Flying Lab Software, and it is scheduled for release in August.
