New PS5 PS Plus Benefit Includes A Huge Library Of The Best PS4 Games

For how long will those games be available on PS Plus? What if I can't purchase a PS5 at launch or within the next 2 months?

This would really have looked better had Sony had something like XBox All Access for their platform. This would have truly allowed new PS5 owners to afford the console over time and get Sony a nice set of new subscribers to PS+. Instead, it's just a ho-hum addition to the service and is only tied to the PS5 by some arbitrary lock-in.

Color me unimpressed, to say the least.

Well considering I own all of these titles due to them being dirt cheap the last year or so I hope the list grows.

Come on Sony, talk to me about PS5 games benefits on PS5......that's the whole point on getting a PS5 isn't?...if I wanted to play a collection on ps4 games I would play them on PS4.

Well its all good to be giving some stuff for people to play when they get the console, the bigger problems seems to be just getting the console at the moment.

It's too bad I own almost all of this but it's a welcome sight. I'm more interested in knowing if this is a one off idea or will they build on it.

I dont get the point of this we already have bunch these on ps4 threw psn sub and this stuff is supposed to be play able on ps5. so if we already have them either threw psn sub we bought them and there play able on ps5 why? are he getting some kind upgrade from ps4/pro base?

Persona 5, Uncharted, Last of Us, Bloodborne & GoW. All very highly acclaimed exclusive, really good for those not yet experienced PlayStation. Got some nice selection of games that I haven't played either.

It's a nice perk if you never owned a PS4 or in the case of several of those titles, an Xbox One. With a few exceptions like Monster Hunter World, almost all of those have been available very cheaply in Black Friday sales or other promotions, along with about a quarter of them having been PS Plus free items in recent years. Plus the used market is fairly flooded with those. So chances are, if you've had a PS4 for a couple years, you likely already own a good portion of that list, possibly all of it.

Nice for customers new or returning to Playstation. A bit useless to those who been on Playstation all along.

So are these on top of our existing Plus library that we've been getting these last years? I feel like it's still a bit unclear. Anyone know?

As someone who is now primarily a PC gamer & skipped the PS4 generation, this is a possible selling point for the PS5. I think that list is still a bit short though. I'd like to see Ghost of Tsushima added for sure.

So a bunch of old games?...where is the Last of Us 2?..... Where is Ghost of Tsushima?.... heck where is even the 3 year old Spider-Man and Horizon Zero Dawn?

I have all of those games already though I would hope that like Game Pass the titles get changed out every month.

That's a good list of games, for people who haven't played them already. I guess it also confirms all of those titles are BC if you own the PS4 version. Good to know. I wonder if they are also being 'updated' to take full advantage of the system.
