@FlakeyCrust If I didn't already have a PS3 I would buy the 16GB then replace the harddrive with a laptop drive. Currently I have a 320GB 7,200RPM HDD in my original 40GB system. The stock drives are 5,400RPM so the extra speed helps things load a bit faster and things run smoother in open world games. When playing Oblivion I never had the pauses to load world as you run about.

@PuNkeRoiD you havent bought a ps3 yet? maybe you bought a 360 earlier? either way if you dont have either system by now forget it and just save up for next generation, where you can play all of this generations games for 10$ downloads lol

If its the same as on this picture then go and buy a slim if you like it, you will have time to do that because they are not going to take the slim version from the stores at the same day of the announce :)

@juboner That might be a consideration, but your PS1 didn't have a hard drive to store games, so users will probably be loading discs less often.

@lm316 lol bro PS3 slim is using Cell processors on 45nm not on 90nm that the original used, there is no logic on what you are ssaying. Sony only does this because they are not going to realise PS4 soon + they want to spend less money to create a PS3 that they do now.

@Auronvolgar uhhhh 100 euro is too low. i could see this selling for around 150 euro min. i'm assuming they're aiming for the price of the 360 slim (which is 200 dollars?) so around 150 euro

@wickdawg01 Yeah but think of all the R&D that went into it from an engineering perspective. And the changeovers on the production end.
