A new trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales has arrived. This latest video spotlights the battle between main characters Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) and Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem). As you'll see, Salazar believes Sparrow has wronged him--and he wants revenge.

There is a good amount of action in this trailer, while we also see a young Sparrow, presumably made possible with CGI. Take a look:

Pirates series veteran Geoffrey Rush returns as Barbossa, while Will Turner actor Orlando Bloom is expected to be in the film as well, making his first appearance in a Pirates movie since 2007's At World's End. The Pirates series has been away for a long time now, as the most recent film in the series was On Stranger Tides, released in 2011.

Dead Men Tell No Tales' official synopsis reads:

"Thrust into an all-new adventure, a down-on-his-luck Captain Jack Sparrow finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar, escape from the Devil’s Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea… including him. Captain Jack’s only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that bestows upon its possessor total control over the seas."

The Beatles singer Paul McCartney apparently has a role in the movie, continuing the rock star trend that started with Keith Richards of The Rolling Stones appearing as Jack Sparrow's father in At World's End.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is directed by Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg and hits theaters on May 26, 2017--Memorial Day weekend in the US.
