Sweeden based developer Starbreeze on Tuesday announced new DLC for crime game Payday 2, and it is certainly unique. Titled "The Alesso Heist," the new content takes place during an Alesso concert and the DJ--whose real name is Alessandro Lindblad--will actually appear in the game as himself.

The Alesso Heist was designed as part of a collaborative effort between Starbreeze and Alesso, who also wrote a brand new song for the DLC called "Payday," which you can listen to via the Spotify embed below.

The expansion also introduces four new masks (designed by Alesso and featuring his trademark logo; see above), along with new ranged and melee weapons, as well as four new achievements to unlock.

No images of Alesso's in-game character model have been released, and it's unclear exactly what players will be stealing at the EDM show.

"I'm a huge gaming fan," Alesso said in a statement. "Starbreeze asked me to do my own piece of the game and appear in the game itself and it was an immediate 'Yes' from me."

The Alesso Heist arrives on PC in May at a price point of $ 6.99 / € 6.99.

This announcement comes just a few weeks after Starbreeze reached a new, two-year deal with publisher 505 Games to create even more content for Payday 2. "We'll never stop making Payday," Starbreeze chairman Michael Hjorth said as part of the announcement in March.

Payday 2 is also coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this June through the Crimewave Edition.
