New On Netflix This Week: One Piece Episodes And Pokémon Series Arrive

If you're trying to find something new to watch on one of the many streaming services out there, you'll be happy to know that Netflix has plenty of new content arriving the week of June 7. This week, there are favorite returning original series, along with TV shows you'll want to binge-watch while hanging out at home. Also, new episodes of the Pokémon series arrive, and you have to watch them all.

The Netflix original Pokémon Journeys: The Series arrives on Thursday, June 12. This is actually Season 23 of the Pokémon cartoon that everyone knows and loves. Ash Ketchum continues his adventures to try and catch "them" all while becoming a pocket monster champion. Now, he and his friend Goh go on new adventures learning about new catchable allies.

In other anime news, June 12 will also see the release of a pirate-related anime you'll want to watch. The first four seasons of One Piece arrive to Netflix. The widely-popular anime series follows Luffy, who wants to become the greatest pirate of all time, finding the legendary One Piece treasure. There are 130 episodes dropping that day, so get your best pirate hat on and get ready to set sail.

Finally, Spike Lee's latest movie Da 5 Bloods hits the service on Thursday. The film follows veterans from the Vietnam war in present day, as they head back to the country to honor someone who fought alongside them. However, there's also some gold they buried during the conflict they want to retrieve. Check out the first trailer for the movie here.
