New On Netflix This Week In The US: TV Shows, Movies, And Originals
Guess I know what I'm doing this weekend.
Lots of Netflix titles are coming to the streaming service this week, including a slew of originals arriving on Friday. Other than that, there are a few movies and shows arriving in the next few days, so let's take a look at the highlights.
Season 5 of The Originals, The Vampire Diaries spinoff, is arriving on August 9. And on the lighter side, Demetri Martin's new stand-up special called The Overthinker is coming out this weekend.
As for Netflix originals, Season 1 of Afflicted, a new show following the spread of a fictional disease, premieres Friday. Season 7 of Voltron: Legendary Defender is also coming to Netflix this week. Several other new original shows will be premiering this on Friday as well, like Million Pound Menu where restauranteurs open a pop-up and for the public and for a few judges.
A couple of crime dramas are also coming to Netflix, including Paid in Full, a drama about drug dealing in 1980s Harlem, which arrives August 5, and the Coen Brothers' acclaimed thriller, No Country For Old Men, which will be added Saturday. If you'd like to see the whole list of titles being added this week, check it out below. If you want to know about all the titles arriving and leaving Netflix in August, see our complete list.
