The newest update has landed.

A new firmware update for the Nintendo Switch has arrived, but it's not exactly clear what it does.

As posted on Nintendo's website, update 2.3.0 includes "general system stability improvements to enhance the user's experience." If that sounds familiar, it's because it is the same exact language that Nintendo has used to describe the system's two most recent updates, 2.2.0 and 2.1.0.

GameSpot has installed the new update and we will report back with more details on what's new in the update as we find out. If you have the update and noticed any changes, let us know in the comments below!

In other Switch news, a backend update last week introduced the ability to store credit card information for the eShop, which is a very welcome feature.
