New Mythic Quest Season 2 Trailer Teases Tester Romance And More

Everyone's favorite game tester couple may get together in Mythic Quest Season 2. Here's a new teaser.

A new featurette for Mythic Quest Season 2 teases our favorite storyline on the show--the blossoming romance between game testers Dana (Imani Hakim) and Rachel (Ashly Burch)--among many other things to come in the Apple TV+ series' second season. Watch it below.

The featurette teases some Season 2 storylines, including lead programmer Poppy (Charlotte Nicdao) accidentally crashing the game's servers, and the game's writer, C.W. Longbottom (F. Murray Abraham), needing to call into the office as a floating head over Zoom. Most importantly, it shows a glimpse of Dana and Rachel gazing longingly at one another in what looks like a very romantic scene. Fingers crossed.

Of course, Mythic Quest is our favorite (and the only) workplace comedy sitcom about a game development studio. The series stars It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's Rob McElhenney as Ian Grimm, the head of the game developer that makes a World of Warcraft-style RPG called Mythic Quest. Season 1 began with the release of the game's major expansion, "Raven's Banquet," and followed the studio through trials, tribulations, and hijinx. The show has also featured two special episodes, "Quarantine," released in May 2020, and "Everlight," released April 16 this year.

Mythic Quest also happens to be really, really good--we named it among our top 10 favorite shows of 2020. Between that and Ted Lasso, there are some good reasons to get an Apple TV+ subscription at the moment.

Mythic Quest Season 2 premieres on Apple TV+ May 7.
