New media: NHL Hitz 2002

Midway's latest attempt at the hockey game genre comes in the form of an arcade-style game titled NHL Hitz 2002. Like Midway's other action-sports games, NHL Hitz 2002 will feature over-the-top animation and gameplay mechanics and will of course be easy to pick up and play. Naturally, the game will feature all of the NHL teams and arenas and selected superstar players. As is typical with NFL Blitz or the NBA Hoopz series, Midway's hockey game will include plenty of hidden characters, teams, and arenas. NHL Hitz 2002 will be released for the PlayStation 2 by the end of the year.
