GameSpot has new screenshots from Lotus Challenge for the PlayStation 2. As the name suggests, the game will feature all the officially licensed Lotus cars, including models such as the Elise.

In the game, players can perform stunts and try to catch the computer-controlled cars while driving through heavy traffic. The primary gameplay mode is a challenge mode where players can pick either a male or female character. Then they are asked to complete a number of missions and driving challenges. The game's story takes different turns depending on the character players choose and how well they perform. Additionally, Kuju plans to implement a sophisticated physics model to match the experience of driving a Lotus-manufactured automobile. Over 40 Lotus models are included in the game, along with 15 basic courses and 10 stunt tracks.

No specific release date has been announced at this time, but the game should be released later this year.
