New media: Kameo: Elements of Power

Rare has released a handful of new screenshots from Kameo: Elements of Power for the Nintendo GameCube on its official Web site. In the game, players assume the role of Kameo, a young girl who is able to capture and train wild animals. Kameo is set in a fantasy world, and as such, the creatures roaming the game's wide landscapes are unique and creative concoctions, as seen in the screenshots. At the game's onset, Kameo is only able to corral smaller creatures, but as players progress through the game, they will gain the ability to influence larger monsters. Kameo: Elements of Power will be released for the GameCube in early 2002.
