Codemasters has released a new trailer for IGI 2: Covert Strike, its upcoming first-person shooter. The trailer runs for a little more than a minute, and it shows off some of the characters, environments, and action sequences that players will encounter in the game.

IGI 2: Covert Strike is the sequel to Project IGI: I'm Going In, which was released in late 2000, and it will feature the same combination of action and stealth elements. Players will again assume the role of David Jones, a freelance special agent working on a series of secret missions around the world. The game is in development at Innerloop, the studio that created the original game, and it is scheduled for release in September. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game and watch the video trailer linked below.
