Interplay has released several screenshots from its upcoming Xbox-exclusive game Hunter: The Reckoning. The license is based on White Wolf's pen-and-paper game, and the Xbox game in particular is set in a small prison town that has become a center of evil and corruption. Hunter is an action game that combines ranged, magic, and melee attacks, as players may have to fight 15-20 monsters in any given scene. Each of the four hunters in the game is equipped with different weapons and magic abilities, and each has his or her own different attack animations. The attacks can be modified and improved via power-ups that are available throughout the game's gothic levels.

Aside from the single-player game, a four-player mode is also included in the game. Hunter: The Reckoning is being developed by High Voltage Software and will be released in Q1 2002.
