New media: Herdy Gerdy PS2

Eidos has released several new screenshots from Herdy Gerdy, its Disney-like 3D platformer for the PlayStation 2. In Herdy Gerdy, players assume the role of a herding apprentice who is determined to win his community's annual herding competition. Each level contains a variety of animals that must be herded into their appropriate pens. Large creatures called gromps attempt to eat the animals players are herding, so finding a way to avoid the gromps while herding the animals is the basis of many of the game's puzzles. Herdy Gerdy for the PlayStation 2 is currently scheduled for release on August 1. Look for our full review of the game in the coming weeks.
