New media: Commandos 2

Eidos Interactive has released more screenshots from the PlayStation 2 version of Commandos 2. The tactical strategy game is set against the backdrop of World War II and plays from a top-down perspective. The game will feature 12 missions, not counting the tutorial missions, and it will take place in both indoor and outdoor environments. According to the game's developer, Commandos 2 is a game that will bring "a completely new experience to console players, with all the depth of a PC strategy game, very easily accessible through a simple interface, and easy to pick up game mechanics."

Commandos 2 is currently in the testing stages, in anticipation of its September release on the PS2.
