New media: Colin McRae Rally 3

Codemasters has released a new video from Colin McRae Rally 3, its upcoming rally racing game. The video, which runs for just less than one minute, shows off the 2002 Ford Focus RS WRC featured in the game and demonstrates the game's advanced damage engine in a series of clips.

Colin McRae Rally 3 will feature a highly detailed and authentic model of the Ford Focus RS World Rally Car that will include 13,000 polygons. The game will also include improvements to the car physics that will give the in-game car better overall handling, more accurate performance for different setups, and more realistic damage modeling. In addition, driver Colin McRae and codriver Nicky Grist will be fully animated. Colin McRae Rally 3 is scheduled for release in the second half of 2002.
