New Legend of Zelda 3DS Release Date Announced

Triforce Heroes is coming in October.

The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes, the latest entry in the acclaimed role-playing game series for 3DS, finally has a release date. The game will launch on October 23, Nintendo announced today.

Announced at E3 2015 in June, Triforce Heroes focuses on co-op puzzle-solving and monster-battling, with an emphasis on crafting different outfits with different stats.

The game lets you team up with three friends to conquer dungeons. But even though there are three heroes and numerous costumes to wear, you can't play as a woman.

wont be happy until you can play as any of the 5 classifications of gender we have now a days. I know people are like well they could start with two? why do we have to change a hero saves a princess to a princess saves a princess, or a princess saves her self. every one should know the Zelda script like Mario and know it is what it is it has worked for decades. how did super peach go over was that the game that saved Nintendo? its mostly the editors fault and reviewers not wanting the same thing wanting things mixed up that we get crap like Mario sun shine thanks a lot jerks.

wanna play as Zelda try hyrule worriers on the U its great so stop trying to force game makes to make the changes you want and let the games play out

You cannot play as a woman...? Well, can you play as a man? No, you can't. Unless you take Ocarina of Time as an example. And even then, Link was still a kid mentally. What do you people expect when it's about The Legend of Zelda, seriously people these days!

Back in mah days there was no hoopla about whether or not you could play as a boy/girl or man/woman! Samus, Lara Croft, Mario, Link, bring em on! Seriously though, were you paid extra to put this line? Because it feels EXTREMELY forced and awkward, or is GameSpot usually like this...?

EDIT:Had to edit somethin' *COUGH!*

"But even though there are three heroes and numerous costumes to wear, you can't play as a woman."

Was this line really necessary?

@gamerboy100: I think the point was just to work in a reference to an earlier related article. Not very subtle.

And the most anticipated WiiU game is delayed to 2016 with no specific date...could be november 2016 :-(

@sladakrobot: Delayed until Nintendo releases their next console, har har.

@davillain-: Looking forward for it and the Dragon Quest game.

@sladakrobot: I can deal with it. A lot of the time, developers are too eager to release and give us buggy crap. Sometimes there's value in taking your time to do the job right.
