Strategy First has sent us a new group of screenshots from its upcoming real-time strategy game Kohan: Immortal Sovereigns. The game is currently nearing completion at Texas-based TimeGate Studios. It takes place in the large fantasy world of Khaldun, which is populated with numerous races and creatures. Players assume the role of a Kohan, an immortal leader destined to fight against an ancient evil. The game features an advanced company-based combat engine that takes attributes such as fatigue, morale, and visual range into account, as well as zones of control, zones of supply, terrain, formations, and company efficiency. Units of all types can be combined to create companies. In addition, hundreds of different quests are featured in the game, taking the player on journeys to research new technologies, build an empire, and learn the history of the Kohan.

Kohan: Immortal Sovereigns is scheduled for release in early 2001. For more information about the game, visit the official Web site.
