New Kingdom Hearts 3 Screenshot Features Obscure Toy Story Reference

Square Enix has released screenshots for various upcoming Kingdom Hearts titles, including Kingdom Hearts 3, Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD, and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage--the latter two being games that will be included in the Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue compilation.

The Kingdom Hearts 3 screenshot shows main characters Sora, Goofy and Donald riding on the Shooting Ride attraction, which many eagle-eyed Disney fans have pointed out resembles the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters ride at Disneyland. This has sparked speculation the game may include Toy Story content, such as a world dedicated to Pixar's beloved animated feature film. This has not been officially confirmed, however.

The Dream Drop Distance HD screenshot, meanwhile, features a gang of key characters from the series ready for battle. Among the crowd are Mickey, Kairi, Riku, and Roxas.

Finally, the Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage screenshot features, King Mickey, Riku, and Kairi having a conversation with Mickey's Master in sorcery, Yen Sid. This chapter is new, and will be playable in Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue.

For god's sake Square Enix stop naming your games like this.

The next Kingdom Hearts game is Kingdom Hearts III, which is in development for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
