A woman on a mission.

Production continues on the much-anticipated action sequel John Wick: Chapter 3, and following last month's first teaser and casting news, we have another new image. This time it features co-star Halle Berry, who is playing a character called Sofia.

The image was released via the movie's official Twitter account. We don't know anything about Berry's character beyond her name, but she is walking through what could be one of the hotels in the Continental chain with two fearsome-looking dogs. The caption reads "A woman on a mission"--check it out below:

Now Playing: John Wick 3 Starts Shooting, First On-Set Images Revealed - GameSpot Universe News Update

John Wick: Chapter 3 hits theaters on May 16, 2019, with Keanu Reeves returning as the reluctant assassin. Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, and Laurence Fishburne are set to reprise their roles from the previous movies, while Asia Kate Dillon (Orange is the New Black), Mark Dacascos (Cradle 2 the Grave), Jason Mantzoukas (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Good Place), and Angelica Huston (Isle of Dogs) are new additions to the cast.

John Wick: Chapter 3 is directed by Chad Stahelski, who helmed Chapter 2 and co-directed the first movie. Last year, Stahelski spoke about his plans for John Wick: Chapter 3. "We want, not so much to go bigger on the third one, but to show you more of the intricacies of the world," he said. "I feel like there are all these different subtleties that I skipped over in Part 2, that I'd like to go back to [with Part 3] and show you the inner workings of different parts of New York."

Development of the long-rumored John Wick TV spin-off The Continental was also confirmed by Starz in January. The channel's president Chris Albrecht said that the show will "include the thunderous fight sequences and intensely staged shootouts between professional assassins and their targets that fans have come to expect in the John Wick movie franchise as well as introducing some new, darkly compelling characters who inhabit this underground world." The Continental does not yet have a premiere date.
