New Jeff Gordon Movies

Jeff Gordon XS Racing is speeding ahead for its May 24 release date for the PC. ASC has given GameSpot News the chance to post four exclusive movies that it won't release until Thursday.

Along with the movies, the company announced that it will be running a series of contests to help promote the game. Players can start building web sites with the Jeff Gordon XS Racing Starter Pack in anticipation of the game's release. ASC will launch a contest shortly to determine who has the best site.

Other web travelers will have the chance to win T-shirts or a chance to meet and play against Jeff Gordon in the K-Mart sweepstakes. The winner of the K-Mart sweepstakes will travel to the August 1999 Pepsi 400 Race in Michigan with three friends, while two first-place winners will win a limited-edition helmet signed by Gordon himself.

The T-shirt contest gives gamers a chance to win one of 50 T-shirts by signing up on the ASC web site (winners will be chosen on April 25). Those of you looking to get a chance to meet Jeff Gordon will have to enter by getting a form at your local K-Mart store (and you'll get a free poster too) or by sending in a 3x5-inch card by April 30, 1999, with your name, address, and phone number to:
