The new trailer for The Incredibles 2 is here. The sequel to Pixar's 2004 superhero adventure hits theaters in June, and the first full trailer follows the teaser released in November and this recent poster.

The trailer focuses on the flourishing superhero career of Helen Parr, aka Elastigirl, while her husband Bob (Mr. Incredible) stays at home looking after the kids--Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack, the increasingly powerful latest addition to their family. The trailer also features the return of Frozone, plus the threat of a mysterious new villain who calls himself the Screen Slaver. Check it out above.

Now Playing: Incredibles 2 - Official Trailer

The Incredibles 2 is directed by Brad Bird, who helmed the first movie. The cast includes most of the voice talent from the original, including Holly Hunter, Craig T. Nelson, Sarah Vowell, and Samuel L. Jackson.

The Incredibles 2 hits theaters on June 15, 2018. The first movie made $633 million at the worldwide box office and for several years was the second biggest movie that Pixar had released. It currently stands as its seventh most successful film.

In related news, it was confirmed this week that Toy Story 4 will be released next year. The Pixar sequel has been delayed several times--it was first announced in 2014, and at one stage was set to arrive this summer, before swapping places with The Incredibles 2. It will now be released on June 21, 2019.
