New Humble Bundle Features Co-Op And Competitive Games
Have friends, and you'll never have to play alone.
Humble is at it once again, with a money-saving proposition on a bundle of PC games for Steam. As always with Humble Bundles, you can spend any amount you choose, starting with $1 to get the initial tier of games. Scoring games in the higher tiers costs more money, but it's always much less than if you bought them separately. This time the focus is on multiplayer games. So choose a tier, gather up your friends, and start playing. This Humble Bundle deal ends May 28.
Paying just $1 gets you the stick figure fighting game Stick Fight: The Game, the co-op beat-'em-up Rampage Knights, and the multiplayer puzzle game Tumblestone. Crank your payment up to above the average amount, and you'll get access to those games, plus the second tier. This set includes the competitive duck shooter Duck Game, the 3D parkour game Hover, and Besiege. Besiege is probably the most notable game in this tier, as it has you construct siege engines in order to destroy everything in your way, from quiet villages to battle-ready fortresses.
And if you drop $14 on the bundle, you'll get Rocket League, which is basically a mashup between a car game and soccer. From GameSpot's 9/10 Rocket League review: "For people new to the game, they have a lot to look forward to regardless, as it's one of the most fascinating sports games in memory. Nevermind if you don't like soccer or couldn't care less about the growing esports community. Rocket League is a unique game that redefines the concept of what a sports game can be, and Psyonix continues to support it with new content on a regular basis."
Buying the Humble Bundle also gets you 10% off a subscription to Humble Monthly, a program that gets you an assortment of mystery games each month. June's Humble Monthly is available now; subscribing instantly unlocks Destiny 2--not a bad deal.
You'll save a bunch of money no matter which tier you choose to buy in on. You can visit the Humble Bundle page for more information.
