In December, Warner Bros. revealed a new Harry Potter RPG coming to mobile in 2018. It's titled Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, and we've now got our first glimpse of what the game looks like.

The trailer above shows off some familiar faces from the books and films, including Professors McGonagall, Snape, and Hagrid. The game will see you personalize your avatar and attend classes with these teachers, while outside of lessons you'll make friends and battle against rivals. It's set in the time between Harry Potter's birth and his enrolment at Hogwarts, but you'll be faced with some of the same tasks those students did--developing your skills will help you solve mysteries and unlock new locations, spells, and abilities.

The game's coming to iOS and Android this spring, with another Harry Potter game, Wizards Unite, also on the way this year. That separate title, developed by Pokemon Go studio Niantic, will see you roaming the real world collecting power-ups, defending locations, and exploring your environment. Warner Bros. has also teased that a new Harry Potter game is in the works for consoles, but nothing else is known about that project for now.

There have been many Harry Potter console games over the years, but none recently. The eight movies got their own tie-in games from Electronic Arts, while Lego Harry Potter titles from Warner Bros. came later. Additionally, there was a Quidditch-themed game called Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup, as well as a Harry Potter Kinect game.
