F9: Fast & Furious 9 Posters Showcase Its Cast; New Trailer Is Here

Fast & Furious 9 hits theaters this summer, and the first trailer arrives later this week. Continuing the series' trend of using unconventional titles, the movie is simply called F9, and ahead of the trailer, new character posters have been released. Additionally, F9 tickets are now on sale, just prior to the trailer's debut. [Update: The Fast 9 trailer has arrived, and it's every bit as action-packed as you'd expect. It shares some details on John Cena's new character and also reveals that the movie sees the return of a beloved character. And we have some theories for how Han is alive.]

The posters reveal all the new movie's main cast members, standing against a variety of colorful smokey backgrounds. There's Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Ortiz, Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce, Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges as Tej Parker, and Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey, plus John Cena, who will be making his debut in the Fast franchise. The trailer will be revealed as part of a concert titled The Road to F9, which is taking place in Miami. The concert begins at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET on Friday, and you can livestream the event on the Fast Saga YouTube page. The show will feature performances from Cardi B--who is rumored to be in the movie--Wiz Khalifa, Charlie Puth, Ozuna, and of course, Ludacriss.

F9 is directed by Justin Lin, who has helmed four of the previous films in the series. The cast also includes Guardians of the Galaxy's Michael Rooker, plus Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren, who will be reprising their roles from The Fate of the Furious as cyberterrorist Cipher and Magdalene Shaw--Deckard Shaw's mother--respectively.
