New Fallout 4 Gameplay Reveals Brutal Baseball Bat Melee Weapon

To celebrate the start of the World Series tonight, Bethesda has released some baseball-themed Fallout 4 gameplay footage. Posted on Facebook, the video shows off Fallout 4's "Big Leagues" perk, which allows players to do double damage with a melee weapon, like the beefed up baseball bat in the video below.

This baseball bat has nails in it and it's super effective. The perk offers a chance to hit a "grand slam," which means clearing your enemy's head clean off. The video also provides a look at the post-apocalyptic version of Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox.

The release of this Fallout 4 video comes on the same day that the game's achievement/trophy list emerged, which included mention of a "homerun" achievement. Now it makes a lot more sense.

Fallout 4 launches on November 10 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. In other recent news, the RPG has gone gold, while Bethesda has confirmed that it will not release a demo for the game. In addition, a leak revealed the game's Xbox One control scheme, new abilities, and more.
