Point Blank is currently working on Falcone: Into the Maelstrom, a game that combines elements of space shooters with those of a first-person shooter. Writer Robbie Morrison (of Judge Dredd fame) as well as 2000AD and Batman artist Jim Murray are contributing to the project. In the game, players face difficult situations, as the hero is pitted against his leader, Black Dog, and a completely new threat named the Legion. This new enemy has erupted from the Maelstrom, a black hole of gigantic scale. As the plot unfolds, Falcone will find himself entwined in the Legion's machinations, and he will eventually seek out its elusive leader.

The game will use the Unreal Warfare graphics engine, enabling a seamless transition between piloting the fighters and disembarking inside the larger spaceships. Multiplayer options will also be featured in the game. A total of 12 single-player missions and five multiplayer maps will be available. Falcone is scheduled for release on the PlayStation 2 and the Xbox in December.
