Iceland-based CCP has released eight new screenshots from its upcoming massively multiplayer space role-playing game EVE: The Second Genesis. The game takes place in a distant part of the Milky Way and features more than 5000 populated solar systems controlled by five major empires: the Amarr Empire, the Gallente Federation, the Caldari Empire, the Minmatar Republic, and the Jovian Empire. These empires and a variety of smaller factions have maintained a peaceful balance for hundreds of years, but recent technological advancements have strained relations.
