The newest trailer for Dune 2 has landed, and it's pretty impressive. The trailer for the sequel to the 2021 film provides a good look at what's to come, featuring the return of Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, and Josh Brolin. The sequel also stars Austin Butler, Christopher Walken, and Lea Seydoux, among others.

"Dune: Part Two will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a path of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family," reads a line from the movie's description. "Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee."

Dune 2 is directed by Denis Villeneuve, who also directed the first movie. He co-wrote the screenplay with Jon Spaihts, and the source material is Frank Herbert's iconic novel.

The music for Dune 2 was composed by Oscar-winner Hans Zimmer, who also scored the first movie. Dune 2 releases internationally on February 28, 2024 before coming to the US on March 1. The movie was originally due to arrive in November before Warner Bros. delayed it to 2024.

Villenueve recently discussed the Dune sequel, saying, "I'm not saying the film is perfect, but I'm much more happy with Part Two than I was with Part One."

In other Dune news, Call of Duty is adding more Dune soldiers based on Chalamet and Butler's characters as part of the game's big Season 1 update for Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone.
