According to Capcom, the new DuckTales title will feature authentic character voice talent from the television show. Its level backgrounds will also be based on scenes from the show.

Capcom explained that all art for the game is hand-drawn and that the team at WayForward used the original NES DuckTales title as a blueprint for the new version.

Gamers worried about the game deviating from Disney's original vision can breathe a sigh of relief. Capcom said it is working very closely with Disney to "make sure everything feels right." The game will play "just like you remember," the company explained.

The game's debut trailer is embedded below.
