New Dreamcast NHL2K Screens

We take a new look at NHL2K for the Dreamcast - will it live up to the standards set by NBA2K and NFL2K?

Comments

Black Box, a Vancouver-based developer with some ex-EA Sports talent, is currently preparing NHL2K for the Dreamcast. As NHL2K is part of Sega's '2K' line of sports titles, Black Box has some major expectations to fill (both NFL2K and NBA2K have received much acclaim from press and gamers alike). Thankfully, it looks like the developers are up to the task - NHL2K looks like one of the most detailed and realistic hockey titles ever.

Today, we got our hands on some new screens of the game in action. They look very clear and detailed, so just imagine when you see it in motion (Black Box previously informed GameSpot News that the game pushes more than 1,500 polygons per player and runs at a steady 60fps).

Be assured that we'll have lots more on NHL2K in the near future. For now, enjoy these new shots.
