The Doom demons featured in this video include the ominously named and uniquely featured Baron of Hell and Prowler, both of which look to be forces to be reckoned with.
As for the power-ups, this video spotlights invisibility and quad damage, while the power weapons seen in the video include the chainsaw, gauss cannon, and of course the BFG.
You'll be able to try out some of these when the Doom closed multiplayer begins this week. As announced earlier, the beta runs March 31 through April 3. Players who preordered Wolfenstein: The New Order and redeemed their beta code will have access to the closed beta period, while you can also go to GameStop to get a free code. It remains to be seen if there are other ways to get in. More information about Doom's multiplayer beta can be found on the official website.
Doom is slated for a May 13 release date. id Software recently held a competition allowing fans to vote for a reverse sleeve cover design--check out the winning art design here.
In other Doom news, id Software has announced all of the game's multiplayer modes and maps. Additionally, new footage from the game will be released this week as part of a special livestream broadcast featuring, among other people, Rob Gronkowski and iJustine.
