Last week, we got a trailer that showcased Dishonored 2's new protagonist Emily, and now Bethesda has released one that focuses on Corvo and his familiar abilities.

"We just had to be Corvo again because we're so nostalgic about the character," director Harvey Smith said. "First of all, we really wanted to see what Corvo felt like with a voice. In Dishonored 2, it's 15 years after the Rat Plague and Corvo's wondering how long can I protect my daughter. He's seen a lot and is still facing these crazy threats to the throne and to the empire.

Now Playing: Dishonored 2 - Corvo Attano Spotlight

"Corvo is like a man reflecting on the winter of his life. He's both the badass supernatural assassin that we wanted him to be, and he's very thoughtful."

Smith and other developers on Dishonored 2 continue the video by talking about Corvo's native land and powers, including enhanced Rat Swarm and Possession abilities. You can see them demonstrated in the video at the top of this article.

You can play Dishonored 2 a day early by preordering the game, which releases November 11 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. In addition to full-on assassination, you'll be able to play through Dishonored 2 without killing anyone and no supernatural powers.
