New Diablo II: Lord of Destruction images

Blizzard Entertainment has released two new images from its upcoming expansion set, Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. One image is a screenshot showing off the hydra bow, one of the new "elite" items featured in the expansion. The hydra bow will only be found on "hell" difficulty, and it will replace the gothic bow for higher-level players. The developers also released a box shot for the game showing off the package design.

Diablo II: Lord of Destruction will add a number of improvements to the original game, including two new character classes, a new fifth act, new areas to explore, and a wide variety of new monsters, items, and spells. In addition, the expansion will add support for 800x600 screen resolution and expand the size of the stash used to store items.
