New details: Ikaruga

Treasure updated its official site with the first screenshots from the Dreamcast version of Ikaruga, its latest shooter. The Dreamcast version will feature a slightly different presentation than the arcade version. To compensate for the fact that Ikaruga is a vertical shooter played on a special screen, the Dreamcast version will feature black bars on the right and left sides of the screen. The Dreamcast version will also have a practice mode, an illustration gallery, a sound mode, and some other features, but Treasure has no plans to add new levels or bosses.

Ikaruga is currently scheduled for release on September 5 in Japan.
