New demo: Real War
Simon & Schuster releases a playable demo for its upcoming real-time strategy game.
Simon & Schuster Interactive has released a playable demo for its upcoming real-time strategy game, Real War. The game was developed from a tactical combat simulation originally created for military use. In the game, players will assume control of either the US forces or a terrorist group known as the Independent Liberation Army, and each side includes 12 scenarios and around 40 hours of gameplay. The game features more than 50 different types of real-life units, including infantry, armored vehicles such as the M1A1 and the T80, nuclear submarines, and aircraft such as the F16 and the B52.
Real War is in development at Rival Interactive, and it is scheduled for release in August. For more information, try the playable demo linked below, and take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
