Ahead of its release later this month, a new clip from the first-ever Dead Rising film, Dead Rising: Watchtower, has been published online.

The video above shows the full version of a scene that was seen briefly during the trailer released in January. When the government's vaccine fails, zombies come to life and begin attacking nearby people, many of whom seem to have a serious case of the standing-by-doing-nothings.

Based on this clip alone, it looks like the movie will be violent, if not quite as gory as a zombie movie could be. It also looks fairly serious, although that first trailer showed it will be peppered with humor, at least at times.

Watchtower was directed by Leprechaun: Origins director Zach Lipovsky. It stars Jesse Metcalfe, Meghan Ory, Virginia Madsen, and Dennis Haysbert, with Rob Riggle in the role of Frank West. It's scheduled for release through Sony's streaming service, Crackle, on March 27.
