New Cowboy Bebop Teaser Is A Ridiculously Stylish Look At Netflix Series

While we still don’t have a full trailer for Netflix’s live-action adaptation of Cowboy Bebop, we recently saw the first look at the series' opening credits and now Netflix has released a new teaser that gives some pretty big hints about what to expect from the show. The two-and-a-half-minute clip is a stylized exploration of the three main characters in the series and feels like it’s been dipped in 1970s goodness.

This particular teaser features all original footage that won’t be seen in the series, but goes a long way in showing the dynamics between the trio of main characters, as well highlighting the types of fight scenes you should expect to see on the show. Interestingly, the clip is also heavily influenced by comic books, as the characters seem to be moving between panels, and even moving the panels themselves.

At this point, it’s impossible to tell how close to this particular teaser the series will look, but the visual style certainly is striking and quite a bit different from just about anything else you’ll find on Netflix.

According to an official description from Netflix, Cowboy Bebop is a live-action take on the iconic anime “about three bounty hunters, aka ‘cowboys,’ all trying to outrun the past. As different as they are deadly, Spike Spiegel (John Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda) form a scrappy, snarky crew ready to hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals--for the right price. But they can only kick and quip their way out of so many scuffles before their pasts finally catch up with them.”

Season 1 of Cowboy Bebop premieres on Netflix on November 19.
