London-based SCi Entertainment Group has released a new group of screenshots from its upcoming tactical-action game Conflict: Desert Storm. The new screens show off some of the characters and environments that will be featured in the game, which is based on the 1991 Persian Gulf War. Players will control a group of four Special Forces soldiers in a series of missions. Each soldier will have a different specialty, such as infiltration, demolitions, heavy weapons, and sniping, and players can control each soldier individually or control them all as a group. The game will also feature a variety of vehicles, including helicopters, tanks, and jets.

Conflict: Desert Storm is in development at Pivotal Games, and it is scheduled for release in 2002. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game and visit the official Pivotal Games Web site.
