New Cars 3 Trailer Shows How McQueen Will Make His Comeback

A new trailer for Pixar's upcoming film Cars 3 showcases the rivalry between Lightning McQueen and the newer, faster, more powerful racer Jackson Storm. Check out the new trailer below.

A new character, the race technician Cruz Ramirez, helps McQueen to train up to beat Storm, with inspiration from the late Fabulous Hudson Hornet aka Doc. You can read more about some of the new characters here.

Earlier teasers of the film also show Lightning McQueen getting into a horrible wreck, having to recover and get his career back on track, despite major competition from newer cars.

"Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers, the legendary Lightning McQueen is suddenly pushed out of the sport he loves," reads the film's description.
